Remnant 2:Â The Forgotten Kingdom is the second DLC for the game, but instead of expanding Lososmn, it adds a whole new area of Yaesha. If you’re looking to jump into The Forgotten Kingdom in Remnant 2 immediately, use this guide to learn how to access it.
How to start The Forgotten Kingdom DLC in Remnant 2
Players can access The Forgotten Kingdom DLC in Remnant 2 in a couple of ways. The first way to access the DLC is by simply playing through the Yaesha biome and hoping you roll it in your playthrough. That said, this method boils down to luck. Due to the procedural generation of the game, it’s possible you won’t roll The Forgotten Kingdom.Â
Another way to access The Forgotten Kingdom DLC in Remnant 2 is by heading to Adventure Mode at the Worldstone in Ward 13 and selecting the “One Shot” option. Similar to the first DLC, doing this will guarantee your playthrough is populated with the The Forgotten King DLC content, giving you quick access to the new quests, NPCs, enemies, etc.
How to unlock Adventure Mode in Remnant 2
Keep in mind that Adventure Mode isn’t available to the player immediately. Instead, it needs to be unlocked by completing the specific biome. For example, since The Forgotten Kingdom takes place in the Yaesha biome, you need to complete Yaesha at least once in your campaign. After beating the final boss of Yaesha during the main campaign, the “Adventure Mode” version of the biome will become available at Ward 13.
If you are itching to try out the new content in The Forgotten Kingdom, then I recommend just selecting the option to play it in Adventure Mode if you’re able. However, if you are a new player (or have created a new character) just play through the campaign and maybe you will roll the DLC in your playthrough. If you don’t roll it in your campaign, at least you will unlock Adventure Mode for Yaesha so you can access it.
