You’ll probably be using the Ninja Vest a ton in Modern Warfare 3’s second season. It seems like the vest will be a game-changer for several reasons. To learn how the Ninja Vest works in Modern Warfare 3, we have all the details below.
Modern Warfare 3: How the Ninja Vest works
This vest looks like it’ll force the meta of Modern Warfare 3 to turn on a dime. Not to be confused with the Assassin Vest which shares the same stealth playstyle as the Ninja Vest, but the two are different in their own right.
Here are some highlights that make the Ninja Vest unique.
- You get extra Shuriken and Throwing Knives ammo.
- The Shuriken and Throwing Knives resupply every 25 seconds when you’re in a match.
- The vest makes you quiet by removing your footstep sounds.
- Flashbangs and other movement effects don’t impact you.
Another interesting thing about this vest is that, unlike the others, you don’t have to sacrifice a gear slot for it. However, if you have a piece of gear that has the one or two perks of the vest, that piece of gear loses that perk. For example, I use Covert Sneakers which also removes footstep sounds. If I have both the Ninja Vest and the Covert Sneakers on, then the sneaker’s ability to not make any sounds gets canceled out since it doesn’t stack.Â
How to use the Ninja Vest
The best way to use this vest is for close combat engagements thanks to its throwing weapons. If you like moving around a lot, and and quietly attacking the enemy, then this vest could be for you. But note, that sneaking around and being stealthy has its pros and cons.Â
Some pros are you’re harder to see coming, you make less noise, and it’s almost always a one-shot kill. On the other hand, playing this way may result in fewer kills, and it’s a more honed-in playstyle meaning you’ll need to sacrifice the typical Call od Duty run-and-gun style gameplay.
Even though the Ninja Vest is for the melee player, the TAQ Eradicator could complement it. Check out this build guide to see if it works for you.Â
