Teased all the way back in February, Activision revealed that Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 will have ranked in the future. Fast forwarding to Season 3 of the battle royale and the developer kept its promise. With the ranked section added, it came with a ton of new features, not just in Warzone, but DMZ also got some love as well. Deployment Fees is one of the newest additions to the mode. These fees are the in-game currency you can use every time you head into a match. This guide will show how Deployment Fees work in CoD: Warzone 2.0, and how to get them.

Cod: Warzone 2: How Deployment Fees work

First, let’s go over how to get Deployment Fees; you can’t use them if you haven’t earned any. In order to earn Deployment Fee currency you must play in the ranked playlist. As you play, you’ll earn a Skill Rating, also known as SR. Depending on how you play, you’ll earn a high Skill Rating or a low one, however, the more you play, the better because you can earn more Skill Rating points.

You can earn them by getting kills, or your final placements in the individual match. If you land first, second, or third place you can earn a decent rating. Just by doing things in ranked, you earn points

Now that you know how to earn SR, the next part translates to Deployment Fees. These fees are taken off your skill rating at the start of each match. So if you’re in a higher division like Crimson, your fee could be up to 100 points. However, if you’re in a low category like Bronze, the fee is zero. Activision has created a table of how many skill points you’ll spend, so this could give you a good idea of where you stand.
