Honkai Star Rail: Best Silver Wolf team comps

Hacking together.

Honkai: Star Rail features a massive roster of 5-star characters. In Version 1.1, Honkai: Star Rail introduced us to the spunky and heated hacker, Silver Wolf. This character has a childish mentality regarding winning and losing, but her offensive capabilities are a vital asset for your teams. This character is a Nihility Quantum character and has the unique ability to add weaknesses to an enemy they don’t already have. These weaknesses pull from your team, ensuring that your characters can always inflict a weakness break. Knowing this, what are the best ways to utilize Silver Wolf and her team comps in Honkai: Star Rail?

Silver Wolf is a Nihility character that adds weaknesses to the enemy team as her primary form of debuffing. Silver Wolf also provides a prominent DEF reduction debuff on enemies, allowing your teammates to deal more damage. As a debuffer, Silver Wolf slots in nicely with a Harmony character to help support your main DPS character. This means pairing Silver Wolf with characters like Seele or Jing Yuan, who should be dealing the brunt of your damage. Here are some of Silver Wolf’s best teammates in Honkai: Star Rail.

  • Mono-Teams: “Mono-teams” refers to teams that primarily consist of one element. For instance, Jing Yuan could be run with Bailu and Tingyun, who are both Electric characters. A major downside to this team is usually the lack of elements, meaning you’d naturally have some trouble in breaking enemy weaknesses. Generally, you want a team with more elements, so you have a greater spread of weakness-breaking ability. Fortunately, Silver Wolf solves this problem, allowing your team to weakness-break bosses that aren’t weak in their natural elements.
  • A great rule-of-thumb with Silver Wolf is to pair her with a Main DPS who can take advantage of her weakness break and debuffs. Seele and Jing Yuan are some of the strongest DPS characters in the game right now, making them natural fits. You should also pair her with a Harmony buffer, such as Asta / Tingyun / Bronya. Finally, the last slot should go to a defensive unit, such as Bailu or Natasha for heals or Gepard for shields.
  • Silver Wolf can work in non-mono-teams, obviously, but you should keep in mind that Silver Wolf can also add a Quantum weakness, as she is a Quantum character. It may be more efficient to run her in a team with less element diversity to increase the chances of adding a weakness you actually want. (This depends on the content, as Silver Wolf cannot add a weakness if a boss already has that weakness, meaning this may not be an issue against certain bosses.)

With these tips in mind, here are some example teams:

  • Jing Yuan / Tingyun / Bailu or Natasha / Silver Wolf
  • Seele / Bronya or Tingyun / Silver Wolf / Bailu or Natasha
  • Yanqing / Gepard / Pela / Silver Wolf
