Hollow Knight Silk Song Release Date Feature

Hollow Knight: Silksong releasing on Game Pass day one

Still coming soon.

This year, much like the last few years, wasn’t your typical Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3). That of course has been primarily due to the fact that in the last few years, the show has been all but canceled, opting for an all-digital presentation. However, that didn’t stop fans from speculating that Hollow Knight: Silksong would make an appearance.  Microsoft and Bethesda brought the heat, finally showing off what to expect next for Hollow Knight: Silksong.

Microsoft showed off more Hollow Knight: Silksong gameplay. But, the presentation did provide some important details about the game for fans who’ve been waiting with bated breath for an update on the long-awaited sequel. We now at least know that Hollow Knight: Silksong will be released on Xbox GamePass on day one. However, there was still the big question of when.

But when?

There’s still a chance that more information will come, including the release date for Hollow Knight: Silksong. The narrator for the digital presentation did note that the games seen in the presentation will be playable over the next 12 months. So, there’s at least that.

Hollow Knight: Silksong is a game that fans have shown a lot of patience for. It was revealed quite a while ago. The game began life as a DLC for the original before spinning off into something new. Of course, that meant a lot more development time was needed. And while many have been patient, fan communities have been getting a bit antsy. Today’s reveal makes it feel like the game is now closer than it ever has been. And the good news here is that, once it does finally arrive, you can download and play it right away if you’re a Game Pass subscriber. It may even have other features, like cloud saves and Xbox Play Anywhere, so you can try it on PC or console.
