Hogwarts Legacy guide: How to capture and tame a Unicorn Beast
The Hogwarts Legacy Unicorn Beast can be found in a location that’s fairly close to Hogwarts Castle. Its den is at the edge of the Forbidden Forest due west of Upper Hogsfield. We don’t recommend going here on foot due to the enemies, and it’s better if you just fly here using a broom.
However, if you want to capture and tame a Unicorn in Hogwarts Legacy, you’ll have to progress a bit further in the campaign. You’ll need to complete a main quest called The Elf, the Nab-Sack, and the Loom which, coincidentally, also rewards you with a function to upgrade your items.
The aforementioned Nab-Sack gets added to your spell tab, and you’ll be using it to capture different Beasts. With it, you can go ahead and visit the Unicorn’s lair. As you approach, make sure you activate stealth mode by casting Disillusionment. Then, pop Levioso to temporarily prevent it from running away. With the creature immobilized, use the Nab-Sack and press the ‘F key’ whenever you see the prompt. You’ll need to do this several times, keeping the animal within range of the spell. If you manage to click all the button prompts, the Unicorn will be pulled into your Nab-Sack.
After this, just head back to the Vivarium in the Room of Requirement. Press the ‘H key’ and click on it to send it to the field. You’ll then be able to pet and feed it so it drops its unique material, the Unicorn Hair.
Hogwarts Legacy is available via Steam.
