Hogwarts Legacy guide – How to get Mallowsweet Leaves for Merlin Trials

The first set of Mallowsweet Leaves that you get in Hogwarts Legacy tends to be a freebie. These are obtained while you’re doing your first Merlin Trial after saving a woman named Nora Treadwell. With the item, you’ll be able to interact with the stone plates to start these types of challenges. However, you’re likely to run out. As such, you’ll want to acquire more.

You’ll want to visit The Magic Neep if you want to get more Mallowsweet Leaves for the Merlin Trials in Hogwarts Legacy. The shop is located in the northwestern portion of Hogsmeade. Each leaf only costs 100 gold, so don’t worry about it.

Still, if you want to harvest the resource passively, you can do so by purchasing the seed packets from the vendor. These cost 200 gold. With your purchase, you can return to the Greenhouses where you attend your Herbology classes. Place the seeds in the pot and wait for 10 minutes while they “grow.” Once that process is completed, you’ll be able to collect Mallowsweet Seeds. Moreover, if you buy Fertilizers from vendors and add them in the pot, the yields will be slightly increased, too.

Considering that there are several Merlin Trials all over the world map, your best bet is to ensure that you’ve got more of these items in your inventory. You wouldn’t want to stumble upon a challenge only to realize that you still need to grow the required plants.
