Hogwarts Legacy: How to unlock Incendio spell

Incendio is a spell in Hogwarts Legacy. With it, you’ll be able to harness the destructive element of fire, burning your opponents to a crisp. Here’s our Hogwarts Legacy guide to help you unlock the Incendio spell.

Hogwarts Legacy guide – How to unlock Incendio

The Incendio spell in Hogwarts Legacy can be unlocked during your second day at school, which occurs after your visit to Hogsmeade. If you head to the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom, your professor will provide you with an assignment. There are two tasks:

• Win two rounds of Crossed Wands – This is a dueling minigame that you can partake in by talking to Lucan Brattleby in the Clock Tower. There, you and a companion must defeat an opposing group of students. It’s all about dodging spells, countering, and breaking shields. This can be somewhat difficult, so make sure your reflexes are on point. You can learn more in our Crossed Wands guide.
• Complete a round of spell combination practice – You can also start this by talking to Lucan. You’ll be up against a training dummy. The goal is to press the correct button prompts to chain spells, all while preventing the dummy from touching the ground. This is where you’ll be able to master spell cycling and air juggling.

When you’re finished with the above tasks, return to your Defense Against the Dark Arts professor. She’ll show you the pattern for the spell (a triangle). Successfully trace the pattern and you’ll acquire the Incendio spell in Hogwarts Legacy. With it, you can burn your opponents to a crisp, and break red-colored shields.

Past this point, you may explore the castle at your leisure. However, you’ll also receive a prompt to talk to Sebastian. This leads to the Secrets of the Restricted Section main quest.
