In the world of Harry Potter, there are many famous characters. Many witches and wizards, such as Rowena Ravenclaw and Gellert Grindenwald, are known well by fans. However, some become so renown that their names will even reach our muggle ears to find their place in history. One of whom is Merlin, one of the first students of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. At least, in the Potter lore. And while you don’t meet him in the game, you can at least try some cosplay. Here’s how to get Merlin’s Cloak in Hogwarts Legacy.

Hogwarts Legacy: How to get Merlin’s Cloak
Merlin joined Hogwarts as a young student back in the 990s, not long after the school’s founding. He proved immensely adept at wielding magic, and is often referred to as the most famous wizard in Potter history — and our own. In fact, his name even became part of wizardry vernacular, with people often exclaiming “Merlin’s beard!” in surprise or exasperation. He also has a chocolate frog card, in which he sports some fancy duds.
Speaking of, how do you get Merlin’s Cloak for your own in Hogwarts Legacy? The cloak itself cannot be found in the game proper. Instead, you’ll need to earn it a different way. To get the cloak, you’ll have to claim it as an exclusive Twitch drop after watching Avalanche Software’s celebrations during the game’s launch week at the developer’s Twitch page. February 7 has already passed, which means you have one more chance to claim it.

Games account if you haven’t already, and then link them together via this page. Finally, tune into Avalanche Software’s Twitch stream on February 10 at 11 AM ET and watch for at least 20 minutes. You should get a Twitch alert telling you that you are eligible to claim the reward.
