In Hogwarts Legacy, every young witch and wizard has a place to call their home. This is the Common Room, which is where they’re able to congregate, discuss lessons, or just wind down from a long day. The room is connected to bedrooms, where the students retire at night. But are you there for good after the Sorting Hat said its piece? How do you get into all the Common Rooms in Hogwarts Legacy?

Hogwarts Legacy: How to get into all Common Rooms
Unfortunately, if you’re a Slytherin looking to cause some trouble in the Ravenclaw Common Room, you’re out of luck. At the moment, there is no way to get into all the Common Rooms in Hogwarts Legacy. Once you’ve been filed off into your respective Common Room, that’s where you’ll stay. Each Common Room is in a different place within Hogwarts Castle, and they’re all themed appropriately based on the House. Slytherin is under the waters of the lake (or appears to be), while Ravenclaw students enjoy the sunshine and ambience of piano music.
If you want to experience the other Common Rooms, you don’t have much choice beyond making a new character. The Sorting Hat is easy to fool in Hogwarts Legacy. If you’re pining for a run as a Gryffindor, it’s easy enough to boast your bravery and good heart to do so.
But are you really stuck there?
There may be a way to visit the other Common Rooms, with some Slytherin logic. According to a Reddit user, there is a way to glitch yourself into the other Common Rooms in the castle. It takes some work, and it could be patched out eventually, but it’ll likely be the only way to visit each area — even if you’re not invited. The user shared the details and instructions in a Reddit post. So feel free to check out to make yourself unwelcome.
Hogwarts Legacy is available via Steam.
