The Field of View (FOV) refers to how much of your surroundings you can see while playing a game. Most modern PC games have an option that allows you to adjust your FOV with a slider. In Hogwarts Legacy, you can do so by changing a value from anywhere between -20 to +20.

How to change your camera angle in Hogwarts Legacy

If you’re diving into the world of wizards and witches on PC, you can change your camera angle by opening up the ‘Settings’ menu. Here, you’ll see a ‘Display Options’ tab and when you select that, you’ll see a Field of View setting. You can use the slider to either widen or narrow your view, depending on your preference.

By increasing the Field of View, the camera will become wider and you’ll be able to see more of your surroundings on the screen. This can prove to be particularly useful when you’re battling against multiple enemies at once. Its worth noting that having a high FOV can put strain on your PC as more information will be displayed at once. Therefore, if you have older hardware, it may be worth lowering the FOV to reduce the risk of dropping too many frames.

Now you know about this setting, you can find the perfect camera angle for you in Hogwarts Legacy.
