Fluxweed Stem is a type of reagent in Hogwarts Legacy. It’s fairly easy to acquire if you’ve got the gold to buy the item, but significantly tougher if you’re trying to harvest the material. Here’s our Hogwarts Legacy guide to help you get Fluxweed Stem so you can make more Focus Potions.

Hogwarts Legacy guide – How to get Fluxweed Stem to make Focus Potions
The easiest way to get Fluxweed Stem in Hogwarts Legacy is to buy the actual ingredient from The Magic Neep. The shop is located in the northwestern edge of Hogsmeade Village. Each item only costs 150 gold, so it won’t break the bank.
Assuming you need the Fluxweed Stem just so you could brew Focus Potions, then you’ll also need a Dugbog Tongue. This is dropped by Dugbogs, lizard-like enemies in the Forbidden Forest and distant rivers. But, you could also purchase a few from Dogweed and Deathcap, which is in the northeastern outskirts of Hogsmeade. Once you’ve got the reagents, head back to the Potions Classroom to concoct your chosen flask. It will reduce your spell cooldowns temporarily.
In any case, it’s also possible to harvest Fluxweed Stem in Hogwarts Legacy, but it will require more cash. Here’s the gist:
- Purchase Fluxweed Seeds from The Magic Neep.
- Fluxweed can’t be grown in small pots (the default size in the Herbology Classroom). As such, you’ll need to buy Large Potting schematics from Tomes and Scrolls, a shop in the southern edge of Hogsmeade.
- Likewise, you’ll have to unlock the Room of Requirement. There, you can plop down your Large Potting Table. Just remember to have enough Moonstones to cover the cost.
- Place the seeds in the device and you’ll be able to gather around five Fluxweed Stems every 15 minutes.
Hogwarts Legacy is available via Steam.
