Hitman 2 Film Ties Into Game

The second Hitman film will contain elements from the forthcoming Hitman 5 game.As previously reported, Kyle Ward is writing the film sequel, but news from Variety indicates that the film will contain story elements from the fifth game.The description Variety give of the film is that “the movie […] catches title character, Agent 47, at a low point. He must build himself back up psychologically and physically to reclaim his mantle as the world’s most feared assassin.”Whether those are the story elements that tie into the game or not, we don’t know, but Agent 47’s life seems to be full of low points and we’re not sure how this could be much worse. Either way, the new Hitman game is due out late 2010.
