Blizzard is set to ditch DX89 and 32-Bit support for Heroes of the Storm.

In an announcement today, they have decided that it’s time to pull the plug as most players are now on DX 11 running the 64-Bit client. Once support ends, players with the 32-Bit client will no longer be able to play the MOBA. Blizzard does say that the 64-Bit client might still be playable with PCs using DX10 but it may not work for everyone.

The switch will happen in July so there’s plenty of time to get upgraded to DX11 if needed. Chances are most PC gamers will already be running DX11 so this really just a polite warning.
