That time of year is here once again, it’s time for a new installment of everyone’s favorite yearly footballing game. EA Sports FC 24, previously FIFA, is coming out incredibly soon, and it seemingly can’t come soon enough. The start of each year’s Ultimate Team is particularly fun, having to make-do with cards that you wouldn’t usually use and finding some hidden gems in the early days of the game. While this is all exciting, the wait is almost unbearable, and knowing when you’re going to be able to play the game is important so you know to set a countdown to the day. Here’s when you can play EA Sports FC 24, with Early Access Trial, Ultimate Edition and Standard Edition dates.
Here’s when you can play EA Sports FC 24
EA Sports FC 24 is nearly here, and there’s quite a few different ways for you to be able to play the game. So let’s go through them and their release dates as EA have outlined in a recent Pitch Notes dedicated to the launch of EA Sports FC 24.
If you have pre-ordered the Ultimate Edition, you can get access to EA Sports FC 24 on the 22nd of September at midnight your local time on Sony and Microsoft consoles, so the PlayStation 4/5 and the Xbox One and Xbox Series consoles. If you’re on PC however, you’ll be able to access the game from 5am BST (midnight EST) on September 22nd.
When it comes to the Early Access Trial that you can get for EA Sports FC 24 by being a member of EA Play, you’ll also be able to access this on the 22nd of September. There’s no specific time for this yet, which is a bit of a shame, but if it’s like previous years, it shouldn’t be too late into the day so you should have enough time to download and play it for a bit on the day of release.
As for the Standard Edition of the game, you will be able to play that from 29th of September, and your progress from the Early Access Trial, if you end up playing that for some early access, should carry over as it has in previous years.
EA Sports FC 24 is available for pre-purchase on Steam.
