Here’s what you’ll need to run The Crew Motorfest on PC

Under the hood analysis.

Ubisoft has recently revealed the third iteration of its hit arcade action-racer series, The Crew Motorfest. This new title is set in the beautiful Hawaiian island of O’ahu and features all of its geographical features, like the striking sandy beaches, winding volcanic roads, lush tropical rainforest, and the urban central of the city of Honolulu. The new reveal trailer provides a quick look at the beautiful new visuals, which are leaps-and-bounds more detailed than its predecessor, The Crew 2. But you might be wondering if you can run it. Read on for the current PC requirements for The Crew Motorfest.

Tune those engines

With there being a five-year gap between the releases of The Crew 2 and The Crew Motorfest, it’s no wonder that the newest game calls for beefier hardware. Yet, the initial minimum system requirements released by Ubisoft aren’t too intimidating.

Ubisoft has detailed what’s needed for the beta version of The Crew Motorfest, which will start its closed testing phase for approved PC players on February 1. Thus, these system requirements could potentially be adjusted for the full release later this year. Still, this provides a good indicator for what you can expect either way.

For the absolute lowest preset at a resolution of 1080p and framerate of 30 fps, The Crew Motorfest calls for reasonable components such as a GPU similar to an Nvidia GeForce GTX 960 with 4GB of VRAM, Intel Core i5-44060 (3.2Ghz) and 8 GB of RAM.

If you want to boost up the visual quality to ‘Medium’ and the frames to 60 fps, but still maintain a 1080p resolution, then you’ll need to have at least a CPU such as an Intel Core i7-8700L (3.6Ghz) and GPU equivalent to a GeForce GTX 1080Ti, along with 8GB of VRAM.

The full system requirements from Ubisoft is as follows:
