Although the game has hit alpha there’s still a lot of work to be done. Ninja’ Theory’s Dominic Matthews says that the mo-cap sequences are now being added to the game, gameplay mechanics are being refined, the music is complete, combat is complete, and aspects of the game are “ready for final art and polish”. The team is now looking ahead to the beta phase where they will be focusing on the player experience.
The plan is to get the game out the door by the end of this year. Based on the new footage in the latest developer diary which looks at psychosis and Norse mythology, the game looks cracking.
