The extended re-jig of Doom 3, subtitled the BFG Edition, will be released by Bethesda on 19 October for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3. It adds the much-requested mounted flashlight feature, as well as squeezing in the Resurrection of Evil add-on and eight other new missions.

But wait, there’s more; you also get versions of Doom and Doom 2 in the same bundle. Plus, the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions have been updated with trophies and achievements if you’re into that sort of thing.

You can even play Doom 3 in 3D, if you like.

Doom 3: BFG Edition will cost £20 GBP on PC, and £30 GBP on Xbox 360/PS3.
