My name is not important. What is important is what I’m going to do. I just fu*kin’ hate this world. And the human worms feasting on its corpus. My whole life is just cold, bitter hatred. And I always wanted to die violently. This is the time of vengeance and no life is worth saving. And I will put in the grave as many as I can. It’s time for me to kill. And it’s time for me to die. My genocide crusade begins here.
Video games are often considered a form of personal expression. At times, there is a story to be told and can even offer a perspective that is humanly impossible with current technology. Some might consider gaming as a form of art, contesting those of great works such as Vincent van Gogh or Salvador Dali.
Then, there are games like Hatred.
The game features a seemingly endless killing spree of police and various other innocent bystanders. The trailer below showcases the isometric view as you slaughter officers with knife jabs, while spewing lead into others as they enjoy a late-night stroll.
The gameplay of Hatred promises free-roam areas of the storyline as you explore the state of New York. The game will also run on the Unreal Engine 4.
Hatred the game is slated for a Q2 2015 release date on the PC. There are currently no specifications available.
