Harmonix Survey For Artist Specific Rock Band Games

This article is over 14 years old and may contain outdated information

If you were as dismayed at the thought of a Green Day Rock Band as we were, then you may have a chance to shape the future of artist specific Rock Band titles. Harmonix has fired up a survey on their site asking the community which titles they would be interested in. The band choices on offer include The Eagles, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Queen and U2. Some not bad options there and there’s also a field to enter your own choice a few questions into the survey.Harmonix also added that these band are not an indication of what is coming out in case the rumours start to fly. Harmonix say: “This survey contains a sampling of some of the most requested artists, bands that have been consistently requested since the initial release of Rock Band. We’d love to get your feedback on which bands you feel are best suited to an artist specific release, similar in tone to what we’ve done with The Beatles and, in a few weeks, Green Day. You can vote for up to three bands on this list, and we encourage you to include a write in if you want to cast a vote for a band we didn’t include. “The Green Day version is not exactly an exciting prospect and perhaps Harmonix has finally realised that it may just be beneficial to ask gamers what they want to see. Head over the Rock Band forums and take the survey, and if you don’t pick Led Zeppelin we’ll have t hunt you down. Thanks Ericbrighteyes.
