Not happy about pay to win in H1Z1? SOE are dishing out refunds; but be quick.

We all know how hard it is to get refunds on Steam but SOE are now offering refunds to any H1Z1 players who were unhappy with the airdrop pay to win situation.

SOE’s John Smedley revealed that they are now offering refunds to anyone who is not happy with the game’s direction at this stage.

“Refunds – if you are upset about the airdrop P2W issue and want a refund email [email protected] and we will take care of you. Please note we are NOT doing this through Steam. We’re doing it ourselves. This will be a no questions asked policy. Please note – if you want your refund request it now – this offer is good until Monday.

“Please note that this is going through us, not Steam. Which means it’s a little more work so please be patient with the actual refund (it may take a day or two).

“we’ve asked Valve to allow self-refunds this weekend. They are awesome to work with. We’ll let you know more as we do.”

According to Smedley they have received requests for 30 refunds in the past hour, so there are obviously a few disgruntled players out there. If you want to take them up on this offer then hop on it now before it’s too late. Before you do though, keep in mind that this is Early Access and there are probably going to be quite a few significant changes as development continues.

Update: SOE’s senior game designer apologises for “lying” about H1Z1 airdrops.
