Don’t bring guns to a Snowball fight. Here is how to find and use Snowballs in COD MW3 Warzone Santa’s Slayground.
COD MW3 Warzone: How to find and use Snowballs in Santa’s Slayground
While I have personally never been in a snowball fight or even made a snowball altogether – that’s what I get for living in a hot environment -, the idea of having ice on your hand, compacting it, and throwing it directly at your best friend’s face is something that interests me profusely.
While not even a snowflake will fall in my city, defeating enemy Operators wearing bulletproof vests with a snowball is something I will most likely enjoy doing in Warzone. CODMAS is here and during these 12 days of joy and nonsensical shooting, we will get to see an Evil Santa, weird Christmas-themed Operator Skins, and even a couple of Zombies that are all for cookies and milk. But anyway, Lethal Snowballs are also here to turn the tides of a fight, just as long as nobody beats you to them.

There are three ways that the Snowballs will make their Call of Duty debut during this CODMAS event:
- First of all, just like any Lethal Equipment, you will be able to equip them as your default Loadout. Don’t worry, they won’t melt while you run, jump, and shoot. If you happen to run out of Snowballs or you picked another Lethal altogether, don’t worry, you are still in for some snow fun.
- You can also pick Snowballs on the ground. Bring up your Tac Map and you will see the icon of a snowflake. That’s where you will find a new Snowball you can throw at enemy Operators for some explosive fun. You can also find Snowballs in Zombies mode the same way as in Warzone.
- Finally, while CODMAS focuses on Warzone, there will be a new playlist called Snowfight, which is a variation of Gunfight. The first two rounds will feature an exclusive Snowball fight, with players eliminating each other.
There’s also a one-shot kill yellow Snowball in the middle of the map – yeah, I know what we are all thinking. Round three will happen with normal Loadouts, but players can still pick up Snowballs across the map.
And there you go! Make sure to bring some gloves so that your hands won’t get cold and hone in your aiming. You will need it to survive. Enjoying CODMAS? Click here to learn how to enter the CODMAS GeForce graphics card sweepstakes.
