One of the biggest surprises of the Sony conference was the announcement of a Grim Fandango remake for PS4 and Vita. Tim Schafer sort of appeared (via a pretend letter from a 10 or 12 year old girl) and the new version was said to be “exclusive” to the Sony platforms.
Cue floods of tears from me and a plan to send nice Mr. Schafer a poison pen letter about abandoning the PC.
But wait! What’s this, over on twitter? It’s a tweet from that same nice Mr. Schafer in which he seems to indicate that “exclusive” doesn’t quite mean what it used to.
Talk about other platforms soon! Sony's been a great help making this happen & we're excited to be working with them on the console version!

“Other platforms” eh? Guess I’ll put away my vicious letter-writing tools for now and see how this pans out. The Grim Fandango remake may yet be making it to the platform of the game’s origin.
Here’s the video from Sony’s event. It doesn’t add much to what I’ve written above (no release dates yet or anything.)
