Grab FSX: Steam Edition for just $7.50 on Steam

This article is over 6 years old and may contain outdated information

Microsoft’s Flight Simulator X is one of those games that have managed to stand the test of time. That is to say, it’s a title that continues to be supported to this very day despite being a whopping 12 years old. Even in its advanced age, add-ons are still being released quite regularly and new players continue to flock in on top of the active veteran hobbyist community. It’s no wonder why either—it’s cheap.

FSX: Steam Edition usually goes for a reasonable $25, but you can pick it up right now for a mere $7.50. This is less than the majority of payware add-ons that are out there, which is both funny and annoying when you really think about it. The deal will be around for 13 more hours, as of the time of writing. So, grab it while you can if you’re interested.

If you have yet to jump into the world of flight simulators, this is certainly the most affordable option out there aside from very basic sims. These days,  FSX is eclipsed by Prepar3D and X-Plane, but that clearly isn’t stopping this old bird from keeping its wings aloft for the time being.
