Black Friday is officially here. Yes, the real Black Friday, not the three weeks running up to it where every store does discounts anyway. The big GOG sale is usually a highlight though, and this year isn’t any different. The digital PC storefront has over 2500 games on sale over the course of the weekend, with discounts running up to 90% off.
This is an increase on last year, where the store boasted a mere 2000+ games on sale. While a lot of the sale runs through December 1, GOG is offering some of the steepest discounts on a flash sale basis. For instance, Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice is 80% off and Hitman: Bloody Money is 85% off, both of which last until November 28. The day after, a number of other flash deals expire, including Age of Wonders: Planetfall at 75% off and Pillars of Eternity: Definitive Edition, which has a whopping 85% off.
Moving onto the sales that are live for the duration, GOG has highlighted a number of titles that hit its maximum discount. Flashback, Styx: Master of Shadows, Tales of Monkey Island, The Talos Principle: Gold Edition and Sherlock Holmes: The Devil’s Daughter are all 90% off until December 1.
Beyond that, there are plenty of other deep discounts on offer through December 1. Any chance I get to advocate for BioShock I’ll do it, so BioShock: The Collection at 75% off is always worth a look. The Collection contains all three BioShock games, along with the brilliant Minerva’s Den DLC for BioShock 2 and all of the add-ons for BioShock Infinite. If you’re looking for something more recent, Remedy Entertainment’s Control: Ultimate Edition sits at 50% off.
An expanding library
Joining the sale list are five games that are new to the GOG library. Batman: Arkham Asylum GOTY Edition, Batman: Arkham City GOTY Edition, Batman: Arkham Origins, Batman: Arkham Knight and Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham are all 75% off. A solid discount for a group of brand new additions to GOG. Here’s the full sale list.
