Both God Eater 2: Rage Burst and God Eater Resurrection have received PC patches today. The ground covered by each patch is pretty similar for both titles.
The only point specific to God Eater Resurrection is a fix for crashes that occurred “in urgent missions when Federico or Annette are selected”. Both games will now default to using a dedicated GPU, which presumably means they were previously defaulting to onboard graphics in error. The patch notes also refer to “Lower network usage” for both titles.
Here are both sets of patch notes, for a fun game of spot the difference (although not that fun because I’ve kind of already spoiled it).
God Eater Resurrection
The patch fixes:
• Skipping movies when the windows movie player codec is not available (mostly Windows N users)
• Game uses dedicated GPU by default
• Lower network usage
• Fixes ‘Enhance Pointer Precision’ bug
• Fixes crash in urgent missions when Federico or Annette are selected (specific to God Eater Resurrection)
God Eater 2: Rage Burst
The patch fixes:
• Skipping movies when the windows movie player codec is not available (mostly Windows N users)
