Those who are using Windows 10 and fancy getting a look at Gigantic will be able to do so from 8 December. Motiga have announced an open beta session that will begin on that date.
Said open beta will feature sixteen heroes from the upcoming, free-to-play MOBA’s roster. It’ll also include a rotation of three maps: Siren’s Stand, Ghost Reef and Sanctum Falls. By controlling the battlefield (via capture points), teams can power up their side’s Guardian and wreak some havoc. The team able to defeat the opposing Guardian will be victorious.
“We’ve sought to build a game full of intense moments and meaningful strategic choices, where there are many paths to victory and it’s always possible to come back and win. Open Beta will be an exciting new phase for the project,” says Motiga’s James Phinney.
Production on Gigantic was placed on hold earlier this year, as Motiga was forced into a round of lay-offs. A new partnership with Perfect World, announced in May 2016, seems to have put the game back on a secure footing.
