Ghost Song — Where to find the double jump

Into the air.

The double jump is one of the tentpoles of any Metroid-like, and Ghost Song is no different. The ability is known as the Boost Boots, which, as you likely guessed, are boots that let you boost upward when you jump during a jump. Here’s how to find the Boost Boots in Ghost Song, which grant you the double jump ability.

Without finding this ability, you won’t be able to get any of the ship parts. This will have to be the first stop on your journey.

Where to find the Boost Boots in Ghost Song so you can double jump

You’ll find these fairly early on, but I’ve gone ahead and screenshotted exactly where you can find them, in case you wanted to get your hands on them without any of that pesky exploring that’s the main reason behind playing games like this.

The Boost Boots are on your way to the green ship part, so you’ll find them in that area. But, once you get them, you don’t have to get the green ship part if you don’t want to. You can actually go get the wall jump or grab the blue ship part. It’s all up to you. Although, most people are absolutely going to be grabbing the green ship part first, as it’s right by the Boost Boots. Doing them in a different order will mostly be fun for future playthroughs and speedruns.

Hop to it

Now that you’ve got the double jump in Ghost Song, the game world is your creepy, alien oyster. You’ll find that you can reach all sorts of new places now, which naturally means you’ll be grabbing a bunch of new items and powerups along the way. There’s no wrong way to go about it and it also comes in handy for evading peskier enemies, especially in conjunction with the dash. Who doesn’t like blasting into the sky and then getting some extra invincibility frames along the way?

The double jump and wall jump work together very well, and here’s our guide how to get the latter in Ghost Song.
