Ghost Song Yellow Door 1

Ghost Song — How to open the yellow door in the tunnels

We all live in a yellow submar... door?

There’s a fleshy, yellow door waiting in the tunnels in Ghost Song with one very specific way to get it open. It’ll take two in-game days before you can get in here and find one of the best modules in the entire game. But doing so isn’t as simple as blasting it open with a weapon or anything of the sort.

Instead, it’s directly tied to a sidequest focusing on the hammer-toting character Mutt. You’ll need to find and talk to Mutt twice in order to get him to open the way, but you won’t be able to complete his storyline until day four.

How to open the yellow door in the tunnels in Ghost Song

First off, go to this point on the map on any in-game day to meet Mutt.

After you return your first ship part, Mutt will show up again near the Crash site. Go here and talk to him again.

At this point, the yellow door will vanish. But Mutt won’t actually show up until you deliver another ship part. If you’re at day three already, you don’t have to worry about that, though. Regardless, go here if you want to find the module and finish Mutt’s story.

And there you have it. That’s how you get the yellow door open in Ghost Song. There are a few characters that have similar requirements, so it definitely pays to go back where you’ve already been on later days, as you might find something interesting. The module you find in the above room lets you scale gunpower with your level, which makes you do much more damage. If you’re looking for the module that lets you scale vigor with your level as well, just wall jump up the mountain to the right of the Crash Site and you’ll find it with ease. Just remember that it’s in the middle of the mountain and not on top of it.

The mysterious door is mysterious, but so is the pebble item in Ghost Song. Here’s our guide on what to do with the pebble.
