A second Assassin’s Creed 3 DLC pack has been dated for the PC today. The ‘Battle Hardened’ add-on brings three new maps and three new characters to the multiplayer side of the game, and will be available on 15 January for £8.00 GBP.

On the character front, you’ll get the “influential Governor,” the “resilient Highlander” and the fearsome (but honestly more amusing-sounding) “Coyote Man.” Map-wise, you’ll be tramping around Charlestown, Fort St-Mathieu and Saint Pierre.

Coming up on the DLC horizon for Assassin’s Creed 3 is the tri-part “Tyranny of King Washington” single player campaign. This will tell the alternative history story of the US War of Independence, across three DLC releases.

If you own a ‘Season Pass’ for the game, Battle Hardened and Tyranny are covered by the price you paid for that.
