Once you’ve started the Erebos’ Secret quest in Genshin Impact, you’ll see three floating islands in the distance. One of these has Yachimatahime’s Trial where you’ll need to release the Flames of the High Gate (i.e., floating blue embers). Here’s our Genshin Impact Erebos’ Secret guide to help you complete Yachimatahime’s Trial.

Genshin Impact: Erebos’ Secret – Yachimatahime’s Trial guide
Yachimatahime’s Trial or Yachimatahime’s Locus is connected to the Evernight Temple area in Genshin Impact. Go to the pool of water in the grassy area in the northern section of this zone. Then, glide and let the Ghostfish current take you through the portal.
Once you’re there, you’ll need to interact with all four Flames of the High Gate. However, instead of solving puzzles, we’ll need to look into the scrying cauldron. Defeat the floating Specters, then interact with the scrying cauldron. The flames themselves won’t appear on your minimap, so you have to check their relative location based on the visions.
Flame #1
This one is in the ruined tower overlooking the cauldron.
Flame #2
Make your way to the next floating island. The flame is being guarded by several Specters.
Flame #3
After getting Flame #2, go up the stairs and pick up the next one that’s on top of a pillar.
Flame #4
This one is on a plateau in front of the large tower. After collecting all four, enter the tower and talk to the shade. This will complete the Yachimatahime’s Trial quest in Genshin Impact.
Note: Don’t forget to finish Yachimatahiko’s Trial and Kunado’s Trial as well. When you’re done with all three, return to Erebos to finish the Erebos’ Secrets quest.
