Genshin Impact x McDonald’s collab: Start and end dates, all rewards, and deals

I'm lovin' it.

I still don’t believe it either, but Genshin Impact is collaborating with McDonald’s. There are rewards, including Primogems, on the line but the specifics of how to get the rewards, when this collab starts and ends, and what’s included aren’t specified. My goal is for you to walk away from this article knowing everything about this Genshin Impact x McDonald’s collab.

Genshin Impact x McDonald’s collab start and end dates and times

The start date for the Genshin Impact x McDonald’s collab is September 17, 2024, and it ends on September 29, 2024. That means you have about 13 days to take advantage of this event while looking for ways to spend your Pyro Sigils.

The start and end times for this collab are yet to be revealed, but my guess is that it will be midnight in your local time. Keep an eye out for an official announcement on that, but treating it as if it starts and ends at midnight on the start and end dates is a good call.

Aside from limited-time packaging that features special skins for Beidou and Kaedehara Kazuha, the main draw of this collab is the rewards. Here are all the rewards and how to get them:

  • Genshin Impact Apple Pie
    • 40 Primogems
    • 20,000 Mora
    • 4 Mystic Enchantment Ore
    • 2 Hero’s Wit
    • 3 Golden Apple Pastries
    • A “Golden Apple Pastry” recipe
  • Genshin Impact Deluxe McCrispy Meal (This comes with a Deluxe McCrispy, fries, limited-edition Apple Pie, and a drink.)
    • A “Wings of Delicacies” Wind Glider
    • A “Celebration: Crispy and Sweet” Namecard

It is important to know that you can only get these rewards if you order with the McDonald’s App. If you don’t order with the app, you can’t get the rewards.

How to claim Genshin Impact x McDonald’s rewards

Make sure you order through the McDonald’s App. After that, follow the steps to ensure you can claim the Genshin Impact x McDonald’s rewards:

  1. Become a MyMcDonald’s Rewards member by making an account.
  2. Order the Genshin Impact Apple Pie or Genshin Impact Deluxe McCripsy Meal on the McDonald’s App. (I believe you can order one of each to get all the rewards.)
  3. Get the redemption code sent to your email after the purchase is successful.
  4. Go to the Genshin Impact code redemption site and input your code.
  5. Log in to Genshin Impact and claim your rewards from the mail.

Sadly, this collab is only available in the United States. And, only participating McDonald’s have this — not every McDonald’s is running the collab. If you live in Europe, Canada, Japan, or anywhere else besides the USA, you won’t find the Genshin Impact x McDonald’s collab.

However, the redemption code is available to America, Europe, Asia, and TW/HK/MO servers. Lastly, though the collab ends in September, the codes don’t expire until midnight on October 29, 2024.

I believe you can only get one redemption code, so no, this isn’t a viable way to farm Primogems. While you claim and enjoy your Genshin Impact x McDonald’s rewards, you might as well hunt down all the Pyroculi.
