Genshin Impact: Venti character summary and gameplay tips

From the time Genshin Impact launched to the present, Venti has remained one of the best support characters in the game.

Although his normal attacks are weak, his elemental skill is quite decent. You can even use him as an “Anemo battery” (someone who casts a skill to recharge the burst of another Anemo character), such as in the case of Xiao.

Where Venti definitely shines, though, is his elemental burst/ult. Due to his ridiculous recharge rate, you’ll often have your ult available, and that whirlwind will suck in so many mobs and debilitate them for several seconds. This is, simply put, the best form of crowd control (CC) in Genshin Impact. You’ll simply need to follow up with your other characters, nuking hostiles while they’re in a confined spot.

You can see this showcased in the video below from YouTuber Scuffie. Notice how the player used Venti in the Spiral Abyss (floor 11-2) for only a split second? This timeframe was enough to unleash Venti’s burst, CC-ing dangerous enemies, before they could damage the monolith.
