Genshin Impact: Venti’s best weapon – The Stringless vs. Favonius Warbow
Like Venti himself, both these weapons are from Genshin Impact‘s Wish microtransactions/gacha pulls. However, I found that Favonius Warbow drops more often compared to The Stringless.
Venti’s DPS greatly increases with The Stringless. This is due to the weapon’s boosts to elemental skill and elemental burst damage, likely the two actions you’ll often use when he’s on the field.
Alternatively, you could go with Favonius Warbow if you haven’t obtained The Stringless yet. The weapon buffs the energy recharge rate, though it’s a bit overkill due to Venti’s inherent recharge rate already.
To clarify, there are many viable weapons out there, including 5-star options like the Skyward Harp and Amos Bow. There’s also the Elegy for the End, a weapon that becomes available once update 1.4 goes live (seen in the tweet below). The Elegy for the End itself is useful once you pop Venti’s ult, switch out, and let your party members gain increased elemental mastery and ATK. In some ways, you could consider this as Venti’s best 5-star weapon in Genshin Impact.
Still, The Stringless already does the job. Likewise, you won’t even feel the need to waste your cash on other 5-star weapons. If ever you do certain high-end bows to drop, you can just hand them over to DPS-type characters that you’ve already obtained.
Lastly, there are other options like the Blackcliff Warbow (Paimon’s Shop), Prototype Crescent (blacksmith), and Viridescent Hunt (Gnostic Hymn Battle Pass). Unfortunately, these don’t synergize well with Venti’s kit. Your remaining option is the 3-star Slingshot which is a poor substitute for The Stringless.
Anyway, the next section of our guide talks about Venti’s best artifacts in Genshin Impact.
