Tips for finding meteorite locations
All right, it’s time to discuss finding the meteorite locations themselves.
First, click on the locator symbol to see the general area where these can be spotted.
If you fast travel to any point in that zone, you’ll notice smaller circles on your minimap. A small circle means that a meteorite is nearby, so go ahead and make your way there. In some cases, the meteorites are out in the open and are easy to see. However, they might sometimes be above you on a ledge, inside a nook, off the side of a cliff, or guarded by mobs. Enemies tend to be crouched as if they’re looking for something, so that can be a clue.
Ideally, you’ll want to “ping” your surroundings while roaming around (default “middle mouse” button). Your elemental sight lets you detect them if nearby.
Then again, I suggest looking at the “vision” of your character, the jewels on your character’s attire. They slightly glow if you get closer to a meteorite’s location. Then, once you’re really close, you’ll see that the jewel flashes.
Additionally, I would advise you to turn off Genshin Impact‘s music and dialogue volume, but keep the sound effects maxed out.
You’ll hear an odd buzzing sound whenever your vision pulses. Once you hear this, you know you’re getting close to a meteorite.
Next, let’s discuss the meteorite locations for Part I – Unknown Star. You’ll find them in Starfell Lake/Whispering Woods, Guyun Stone Forest, and Qingce Village.
