While you’re out and about exploring Watatsumi Island (probably as part of Act 3 of the Inazuma Archon quest), you’ll probably stumble upon the Suigetsu Pool area. It’s in the northeast section of Watatsumi Island, and it happens to have a domain. But, you won’t be able to enter it just yet because you have to solve a puzzle. Here’s our Genshin Impact guide to help you unlock the Palace in the Pool domain in the Suigetsu Pool area.

Genshin Impact: Watatsumi Island – Suigetsu Pool — How to unlock the Palace in the Pool domain
First, let’s take a look at our surroundings in Suigetsu Pool. There are four Electro totems that can’t be used yet, as well as relay arrows right next to them.
Likewise, there’s a Mysterious Pillar that you can interact with to spawn grapple points.
Our goal is to make the relay arrows rotate and face the Electro totems near them. You can do this by getting the Thunder Bough/Electrograna buff, causing the relay arrow to spin toward your character’s position. Alternatively, you can use Beidou. Hold the elemental skill button to force the relay arrow to rotate. When you see a purple flash, that means it’s facing the correct direction.
After you’ve done this with all four relay arrows, you can use charged Electro shots or skills to activate the four totems. This will drain the water.
Jump down and continue swimming as you loop around the corridor. You might need to eat stamina food or use a Cryo character like Qiqi to create frozen patches.
At the end of the corridor, you can climb up. You’ll see a couple of relay stones, as well as a switch. Interact with it to drain the water completely.
This will fully reveal the Palace in the Pool domain, and you should be able to enter it. Plus, it serves as a decent fast travel point for the Suigetsu Pool area.
Anyway, since you’re here, you might as well solve the relay stone puzzle.
