Genshin Impact: Tatara Tales guide — Photos, cannons, furnaces, and more

Cannons go boom!

Functional Test and Final Preparations

Recommended Videos

We’re definitely nearing the last few steps for Genshin Impact‘s Tatara Tales questline.

In “Functional Test,” you’ll need to provide Xavier with 3x Onikabuto. I personally haven’t actively farmed these, though I’ve collected dozens already while exploring. I do know that the Yougou pit/boss area, the finale of the Sacred Sakura Cleansing Ritual, has no less than four of these.

Meanwhile, in “Final Preparations,” you’ll have to gather wooden planks from a marked location. Then, you’ll have to place these in three marked locations with glowing spots (seen in the image below). With these tasks done, I do think we’ll finally see the ending of the Tatara Tales quest. We just need to wait one more day.

Update: Now, we’ve got The Final Act of the entire endeavor.
