Genshin Impact: Finding all stone tablet locations and the Snow-Tombed Starsilver weapon
There are eight stone tablets in the Dragonspine region. You can interact with these in any order.
Anyway, here are their locations on Genshin Impact‘s world map:
Stone tablet #1
On a ridge overlooking the lake/island where you’ll find the Princess’ Box.
Stone tablet #2
Next to the ruined tower where you’ll find the Priest’s Box. It’s guarded by a Ruin Grader.
Stone tablet #3
Below the totem puzzle in the Entombed City Outskirts. It’s the location of a Frost Shard that’s part of the “In The Mountains” quest.
Stone tablet #4
Next to a bunch of bonfires that’s part of a Seelie puzzle. For the first puzzle, run around with the Seelie until all bonfires are lit. This will reveal a hidden floor where the tablet is.
For the second puzzle (which you aren’t required to do if you’re just here for the Snow-Tombed Starsilver claymore), you’ll want to run around with the Seelie until Paimon tells you to make them travel at equal distances. This just means “tagging” (going near) each Seelie once and letting them float around without being too close.
Stone tablet #5
While inside Starglow Cavern, follow the sloping pathways until you reach the very top. There’s a Cryo Abyss Mage and a Ruin Grader that you can fight here (if you activate all the switches).
The object you’re looking for is on a ridge overlooking this area.
Stone tablet #6
In front of the entrance to the Peak of Vindagnyr domain. You must finish the “In The Mountains” quest to reveal the domain’s entrance.
Stone tablet #7
It’s inside the secret door that can be opened after you’ve found all three boxes (Princess, Priest, and Scribe).
Stone tablet #8
From Dragonspine’s Statue of the Seven, jump down and follow the cavern leading south. You’ll find the stone tablet here.
If you’ve interacted with all eight of them, the switch can be activated. It’ll open the doorway to the secret chamber.
Obtaining the hidden weapon
Once inside the secret chamber, you can open the chest which nets you a secret Crimson Agate piece, as well as the crafting blueprint for the Snow-Tombed Starsilver claymore. Moreover, you’ll also want to light up all four of the torches in this room using Pyro skills.
Doing so leads to a short cutscene that spawns the Snow-Tombed Starsilver claymore itself.
This claymore has the “Frost Burial” perk:
Hitting an enemy with a normal or charged attack has a 60% chance of dropping an icicle on them which deals 80% AoE attack damage. Enemies affected by Cryo are dealt 200% attack damage. The effect can only occur once every 10 seconds.
It’s a fairly decent weapon. Still, due to the innate physical damage bonus, it’s more suited for a Genshin Impact character who scales nicely with physical attacks (i.e., Razor). It’s probably not something you’d use for Diluc or Chongyun. Just remember that someone in the party has to use Cryo skills on mobs so the 200% attack damage effect procs.
As for ascension materials, the Snow-Tombed Starsilver uses Decabrian’s, Heavy Horn/Mitachurl horns, and Slime Condensate-type items.
Lastly, since you opened the chest in the secret chamber, you’ll get its crafting blueprint. You’ll be able to forge more of this item (requires 1x Northlander Prototype Claymore, 50x Crystal Chunk, and 50x Starsilver) if you need some refinement boosts.
