Upon reaching Nazuchi Beach in Genshin Impact, you’ll come across a lone samurai getting accosted by his rivals. If you help him out, it’ll lead to a short quest and, eventually, you’ll be able to pay respects to his fallen comrades. Here’s our Genshin Impact Simple Tomb locations and Fate of a Fighter guide to help you with Inaba Kyuuzou’s tasks, Naku Weed, Dendrobium, and the “They Shall Not Grow Old” hidden achievement.

Genshin Impact Fate of a Fighter quest and Simple Tomb locations guide
As long as you’re free-roaming in Inazuma and you’re not in the middle of doing Act II of the Archon quest, you’ll get to watch a short cutscene once you reach the large shipwreck north of Nazuchi Beach. The samurai Inaba Kyuuzou is surrounded by enemies, and you’ll have to help him out. He’s not too happy about it, but he does tell you to go to an island to the south to eliminate more foes.
Upon your return, he’ll ask you for 12x Naku Weed to cure his wounds. Unfortunately, the Naku Weed material tends to be hard to find, though it’s in various nooks and crannies on Narukami Island. You could also purchase five of these from the general goods vendor in Inazuma City.
After giving Kyuuzou the plants, wait a full day until it’s 1000 to 1200. He’ll be a lot nicer to you, and he’ll tell you about his fallen brethren.
You’ll be able to visit six Simple Tomb locations in Genshin Impact‘s Yashiori Island. You may also place a single Dendrobium on these Simple Tombs. This plant is predominantly found on the hills of Kannazuka and the sands of Nazuchi Beach, as well as the surroundings of the Pyro Hypostasis and Maguu Kenki.
Note: The Fate of a Fighter quest is considered complete after Kyuuzou is healed. Looking for the Simple Tombs, meanwhile, is just a means of obtaining Genshin Impact‘s “They Shall Not Grow Old” hidden achievement.
Genshin Impact – All six Simple Tomb locations on the map
You can take a look at the image below to see the locations of Genshin Impact‘s Simple Tombs on Yashiori Island:
Simple Tomb location 1: Nazuchi Beach
On a small island south of the fast travel point.
Simple Tomb location 2: Fort Fujitou
Just southeast of the fast travel point.
Simple Tomb location 3: Higi Village
Follow the pathway until you reach the southern tip of the village and jump down to the coast. The Simple Tomb is on a ledge hidden behind some bushes.
Simple Tomb location 4: North of Jakotsu Mine
Jump southwest of the fast travel point and look at the cliffside. It’s hidden behind some bushes.
Simple Tomb location 5: South of Jakotsu Mine
You’ll need to reach a tall rock formation south of Yashiori Island. You’ll probably want to glide from a higher vantage point.
Simple Tomb location 6: Serpent’s Head
This one requires some extra effort. First, take a look at the mouth of the dragon’s skeleton. You’ll notice several Crystal Marrow nodes and two Electro Seelies. Go near these Electro Seelies and follow them around. Eventually, they’ll fly to the top of the skull inside the eye sockets. This will unlock a metal grate that leads further down.
Note: Near this location is a samurai named Washizu. He’s guarding a shrine that you can worship each day to spawn a chest and get some primogems and electro sigils. However, he’s not actually part of our tasks.
Anyway, in the underground chamber (i.e., the dragon’s throat), you’ll find a switch, an Unsealed Letter, and a single Ruin Sentinel.
Continue further down to spot another grate will several switches. Interact with these switches in the order seen in the image below:
The bottommost cavern has one Nobushi samurai who’s praying in front of the Simple Tomb. Take him out and place the Dendrobium to receive the “They Shall Not Grow Old” hidden achievement.
Oh, and there’s another Electro Seelie here. Open the gate and follow the Electro Seelie to discover a chest.
