Genshin Impact: La Signora boss fight
Anyway, the La Signora boss fight in Genshin Impact has two phases and a short transition.
Cryo phase
La Signora will use Cryo-based attacks. A majority of these are projectiles such as icicles and frostbolts. Some even create frost patches on the ground. When you’re hit by these abilities, or if you move through frost patches, you’ll start suffering from the Sheer Cold effect. If this bar becomes full, you’ll start losing HP. To clear this debuff, simply destroy any of the four fire crystals in the corners of the room.
Crystal transition
When Signora is low on health, she’ll be encased in a large, cocoon-like crystal. There are still a few Cryo projectiles and effects that linger in the area, so watch out. Your main goal when this happens, though, is to look for Crimson Lotus Moth (aka. fire moths) that are floating around the room. Grab them by pressing “F,” and your next attack will be Pyro-infused.
This will trigger the Melt reaction that slowly depletes the crystal cocoon’s shield. You may also use Pyro abilities to speed up the process.
Once the cocoon is destroyed, Signora will burst out. She’s now fully transformed into her Pyro variant, the Crimson Witch of Embers.
Pyro phase
Signora’s abilities will be vastly different during the Pyro phase. She’ll prefer teleporting to get up close and personal, slashing at you with her flaming whip. She may also transform into a fire tornado or cause AoE eruptions in the room.
Getting hit by her Pyro abilities will cause the Blazing Heat debuff (denoted by a bar). As usual, you’ll lose HP if it’s full, so try to break the Cryo crystals in the corner of the room.
If it’s your first time beating La Signora in Genshin Impact, a cinematic will follow. The Fatui Harbinger goes mad. She attempts to attack the Raiden Shogun only to get completely disintegrated. Well, I guess we won’t see her in an eventual wish banner, unlike Childe.
You can head over to the next part of our Genshin Impact Inazuma Archon quest guide series to conclude Act 3. Alternatively, we can talk about the rewards and future Tenshukaku domain runs in an additional section for this particular guide.
