Genshin Impact: The basics of the Serenitea Pot – Realm Layouts, Tubby the Helper, and placing down objects
When you first interact with the Serenitea Pot in Genshin Impact, you’ll be able to choose from three different realm layouts.
These realm layouts are the Floating Abode, Emerald Peak, and Cool Isle. Since I’m a cool guy from the Philippines, I chose the Cool Isle. Wow, that sounds so corny.
I digress. The point is, this layout will be your default one for a while. You wouldn’t be able to unlock or change to a different one until much later. That’s something related to your Trust rating which I’ll get to in just a bit.
Once you’re inside this unique realm, you’ll meet a helper known as Tubby. He presents you with several options related to the whole feature, including your Trust rating, the Realm Depot, and more.
Tubby also gives you the gist of what you’ll need to do at the start, which is basically plopping down some decorations.
Every furnishing or decoration you’ve unlocked can be used via the build menu (accessed by hitting “F7” or clicking on the hand icon). There are multiple categories here from trees/plants, rocks, tables, chairs, gates, and even the main building in the area. Once you’ve placed down an object, you can hold and drag it around to change its position. You may also rotate and adjust it.
Now, it’s not just the open area that you can edit. You can also enter the main building (aka. your home) to decorate it with more stuff. Naturally, some items you have are meant to be placed indoors and others are for the great outdoors.
Note 1: When you’re done placing down the objects, make sure you click on “save” so that they’ll appear in the world space.
Note 2: In case you’ve obtained some furnishing recipes or blueprints, you have to open your inventory and select the “precious items” tab. You can learn the blueprints here so they appear on the build menu.
Anyway, let’s go to the next section of our guide to discuss Trust Rating and Realm Currency.
