The Sakura Bloom is a new material introduced in Genshin Impact‘s version 2.0 update. It’s found in Inazuma’s Narukami Island, which you’ll need to unlock as part of an Archon Quest. Be forewarned because trying to search for these can be a painstaking task. In any case, here’s our Genshin Impact Sakura Bloom farming locations guide to help you with Ayaka’s ascension material.

Genshin Impact: Ayaka’s character ascension material – Sakura Bloom farming locations guide
So, what can you expect when you’re trying to look for Sakura Bloom farming locations? Well, for starters, you can think of these as akin to the Dandelion Seeds used by Eula and Jean. You can’t just grab them from the ground.
Instead, you’ll need to use an elemental skill or attack (in this case, it’s Electro). That means relying on characters like Beidou, Keqing, Razor, Fischl, or the Electro-based Traveler just so you can collect the flowers themselves.
Another problem that you might encounter is that Sakura Bloom nodes can be hard to see. This is primarily due to the visuals and hues of the Narukami Island and the nodes. Because the Sakura Bloom looks like a bunch of pale, pink petals floating around, bright and luminescent environments tend to make it blend in. You can see this in the image below. Yes, there’s a Sakura Bloom there, but your eyes might play tricks on you as you’re traversing the landscape.
Likewise, although some spots have clusters of two or more of these plants, many others are further apart. You’ll only obtain one material from each node which can be a hassle. Just compare this to Jueyun Chili and Valberry which have multiple fruits dangling from each stalk.
Northern Narukami Island – Araumi, Grand Narukami Shrine, Kamisato Estate, and Mount Yougou
Anyway, let’s talk about the Sakura Bloom farming locations in Genshin Impact. Here’s the northern section of Narukami Island in the Inazuma region:
You’ll notice that there are a lot of clusters at the Grand Narukami Shrine. Indeed, if you try to follow the pathway leading up to the temple itself, you’ll discover quite a number of Sakura Bloom flowers (the shrine actually has around half a dozen of these).
Alternatively, you can choose to fast travel to the Grand Narukami Shrine. Then, jump and glide down to find these flowers growing on the cliffs and hills.
Kamisato Estate and Araumi also have a few of these around. Moreover, try to complete the Sacred Sakura Cleansing Ritual quest chain. The finale, Yougou Cleansing, opens up a chasm. Once you’ve defeated the boss there, the area becomes purified. You’ll see at least five Sakura Blooms, as well as some extra Electro Crystalflies (if you need Crystal Cores to make Condensed Resin).
Note: There’s one more Sakura Bloom on a small island to the northeast that’s accessible via the Kamisato Estate corrupted shrine. However, it’s just a single node and it’s quite far away. I doubt anyone would include it in their farming runs, so I didn’t add it on the map.
Southern Narukami Island – Byakko Plain, Chinju Forest, and Inazuma City
Next up, here are the Sakura Bloom farming locations at the southern section of Narukami Island:
Both Byakko Plain and Chinju Forest have a few of these. Inazuma City, meanwhile, has seven nodes. You’ll find one near the fast travel point, two close to the water wheel, and four at the cliffs and walls to the north. The fortress itself and surrounding islands don’t seem to have any nodes at all.
In any case, try to be patient while farming until you’re comfortable with your runs. Eventually, you should be able to amass a lot of these. Don’t forget that you need at least 165 Sakura Bloom items if you’re planning to boost Ayaka to level 90.
