Genshin Impact: Rosaria guide — Weapons, artifacts, and talents

Hey, Soul Sister!

Rosaria’s talent priorities and constellations

Recommended Videos

Again, Rosaria’s role in your Genshin Impact team will determine which talents you’ll focus on. Likewise, her constellations can prove to be a game-changer on how you utilize her.

  • Normal Attack: Spear of the Church – Prioritize this if you’re going for a physical DPS build.
  • Ravaging Confession (skill) – I haven’t really leveled this up too much. It’s mostly used to teleport behind smaller and medium-sized opponents, but, that’s often followed by physical stabs with her weapon anyway.
  • Rites of Termination (burst) – Prioritize this if you want a support role or more emphasis on her Cryo output. Rosaria’s burst makes her swing her weapon to hit nearby enemies, then it spawns a large ice lance. The ice lance pulses three times within four seconds, dealing AoE Cryo damage each time.

Note 1: Regina Probationum – This passive talent increases Rosaria’s crit rate by 12% for five seconds when she backstabs an opponent after using Ravaging Confession (skill). It’s a decent boost for those who wish to use her as a main or sub-DPS character.

Note 2: Shadow Samaritan – This passive talent, meanwhile, increases the crit rate of all other party members except Rosaria after she casts Rites of Termination (burst). This is what makes her viable in a supporting role since you’ll pop her burst, then swap to the character that’ll actually take out opponents.

Note 3: Be reminded that Rosaria uses Ballad booklets and Fatui insignias as her talent leveling materials.

Constellations

Although I wanted to get all or most of Rosaria’s constellations, I held off on doing more wishes. That’s because Fischl and Barbara are both part of this current banner. Since I have them at C6 (max constellations) already, I would waste my fates/primogems if I got them as duplicates once more.

Still, if you’re up for it, you can try getting duplicates of Rosaria for the following:

  • Unholy Revelation (C1) – +10% attack speed and +10% normal attack damage when you land a critical hit. This is actually a major improvement already.
  • Land Without Promise (C2) – The ice lance spawned by Rosaria’s burst lasts an extra four seconds (that’s three additional AoE pulses). Again, this is a decent boon.
  • The Wages of Sin (C3) – +3 levels for your elemental skill; maximum level is 15.
  • Painful Grace (C4) – Gain +5 energy when you land critical hits with your elemental skill. This is helpful if you want to get your burst/ult faster.
  • Last Rites (C5) – +3 levels for your elemental burst; maximum level is 15.
  • Divine Retribution (C6) – Your elemental burst’s attack (the initial weapon swing) decreases the physical resistance of opponents by 20% for 10 seconds. This is actually pretty good due to the resistance debuff it applies to multiple foes. It’s viable for both a physical DPS Rosaria, or a Rosaria that’s there to support physical-heavy characters like Xiangling, Razor, or Keqing.

The next section talks about Rosaria’s ascension materials.
