Genshin Impact: Rosaria’s best weapon – Crescent Pike vs. other options
There are a few ways you can build Rosaria, and your decision will determine which weapon is best suited for her.
Dragonspine Spear (physical damage) or Crescent Pike (physical damage) – These two are ideal for Rosaria since they aren’t gacha weapons at all. You can easily farm the requirements to reach the max level and refinement. The Dragonspine Spear can be obtained from a quest chain (and a bit of crafting). Meanwhile, the Crescent Pike can be yours easily by crafting (no need to do a quest for this one). Both weapons use physical damage as a sub-stat, but Dragonspine Spear will have a higher value when fully leveled. However, the Crescent Pike will trump it when it comes to base ATK.
Here are a few more subtle differences:
- Crescent Pike is primarily for sustained Physical DPS with normal and charged attacks. You’ll get an ATK boost from the energy particles that you collect due to the “Infusion Needle” perk.
- Dragonspine Spear has you relying on the “Frost Burial” perk. The icicle that drops on your opponent (which has a 10-second internal cooldown) deals more damage if the target is affected by Cryo. Since Rosaria’s a Cryo-based character, you can bet that those icicles will hurt.
If you’re looking at a 5-star weapon in Genshin Impact that’d be good with Rosaria, then Skyward Spine (energy recharge) is a decent bet. Alternatively, you can use the Primordial Jade Winged-Spear (crit rate) for her.
Assuming you want Rosaria in a purely supporting role (focusing on her burst), then Favonius Lance (energy recharge) is an okay substitute especially if you don’t have the Skyward Spine. You’ll regain her burst faster, allowing you to pop it before swapping to another character. Conversely, if you don’t have the Primordial Jade Winged-Spear but you want a higher crit rate stat, then you can go with Deathmatch (from the Gnostic Hymn Battle Pass).
Anyway, let’s discuss Rosaria’s best artifacts in Genshin Impact in the next section of our guide.
