Genshin Impact: Razor best team comps guide

Going wolf wild.

Genshin Impact has a sizable collection of characters that fulfill different roles. Each character can contribute value to your team, with some characters dealing damage while others laying in the back providing support. Razor is a Physical DMG character, and while he may have been eclipsed by other characters in the game such as Eula, Physical DMG dealers are rare to come by. Razor also has a level of Electro DMG thanks to his Electro burst, which gives him access to some other unique teams. Here’s our Genshin Impact guide on the best Razor team comps.

Razor is a 4-star Electro Claymore character. As with most 4-star characters, you’ll likely find a Razor join your team as a drop from the Character Event Wish or Standard Banners, or during rate-ups as they accompany other 5-star characters. These 4-star characters are often seen as weaker than other 5-star characters, but we can unlock Razor’s true potential with the best team for him and support line-up.

Razor is a Physical damage dealer, which gives him a strict set of units to work with. When the Electro element mixes with the Cryo element, the Superconduct reaction takes place. This reaction lowers the Physical resistance of enemies by a significant amount, increasing your overall Physical DMG. As a result, we’ll need to pair Razor with Cryo units to make sure that the Superconduct reaction is consistently activated.

Thanks to Razor’s Elemental Burst, Razor also has a number of other niche teams, as the Elemental Burst adds a good amount of Electro DMG in combination with his Elemental Skill. Here are some examples of team comps you can use with Razor in Genshin Impact.

  • Razor / Zhongli (or another shielder) / Fischl / Rosaria: This is a solid line-up for Razor. Fischl provides additional Electro DMG and Electro application. Rosaria dishes out significant Cryo DMG, can lower Physical RES, and consistently proc Superconduct. Zhongli is here for a defensive edge, as Razor is quite vulnerable during his rotations.
  • Razor / Diona / Xingqiu / Yelan or Fischl: Thanks to the significant Electro DMG in Razor’s kit, you can combine Physical DMG in addition to some Electro-Charged DMG. Xingqiu and Yelan will contribute a large amount of damage, while Razor and Diona will additionally dish out some Physical DMG with Superconduct. Diona is also a great support for Razor.
  • Razor / Xingqiu / Nahida / Dendro Traveler: Razor’s high Electro DMG also makes Razor a viable driver for certain Aggravate and Hyperbloom compositions. While Razor is traditionally seen as a Physical DMG dealer, the introduction of Dendro has opened up some alternate build paths for Razor.
