There are many secrets to find as you journey in Genshin Impact. In fact, several can be found in Qingce Village and Qingce Ruins. You’ll discover puzzles and fragments that will eventually lead you to a hoard of treasure. Here’s our guide to help you out.

Genshin Impact: Collecting fragments in Qingce Village, Qingce Ruins, and Wuwang Hill
You might stumble upon this Genshin Impact sidequest as you’re exploring the map (an NPC might tell you to investigate the Qingce Ruins). Alternatively, you could just head to these locations immediately.
Here’s a map of the Qingce Village and Wuwang Hill areas — I’ve outlined where you’ll spot the puzzles too:
Qingce Ruins fragment
Qingce Ruins has loads of goodies such as multiple treasure chests, several Geoculus, and seelie rewards. At the center of this location, you can find a Ruin Hunter.
There’s also an inscription nearby that tells you about “strange stones and serpents.”
Basically, this means checking out the three nearby spots with large orange crystals. You’ll notice small dragon statues that you can interact with at each spot.
After interacting with all three, a chest will spawn that grants you a fragment.
Qingce Village fragment
You’re told to visit Qingce Village and speak with the locals about the fragment you’ve discovered. The NPC Master Lu will direct you to speak with the village elder, Granny Rouxin.
You’ll find her in the shrine at the top of the village’s mountain path. You’re tasked with heading to a place with lots of Geo statues.
It’s to the west of the village and it’s also marked on your map.
When you reach this area, you’ll notice five statues arranged in a formation.
The inscription also tells you about how Rex Lapis overcame the Chi. Directions are also highlighted in the inscription.
The gist is that you should activate the statues in the correct order: north, southeast, northwest, northeast, and southwest. If you do it correctly, you’ll get a treasure chest with the second fragment.

Wuwang Hills fragment
After obtaining the Qingce Village fragment, you’re asked to head to the highest point near the village (Wuwang Hills).
Go behind the village elder’s shrine to find some ladders. Climb those and then the cliff face to reach the summit of the Wuwang Hills.
At the top of the hill, there’s a Geoculus and an inscription. This one talks about how Rex Lapis has been watching over Teyvat, noting some landmarks too.
The idea is to activate only the dragon statues that correspond to those landmarks.
When you’re done, open the treasure chest and pick up the third and final fragment.
You can also refer to the image below for the solution:
Qingce Waterfalls Treasure
You’re not done yet with this Genshin Impact treasure hunt. If you return to the village elder, she’ll give you a clue about the treasure’s location: it’s inside the cavern behind Qingce Waterfall.
Head to the location marked on your map. You’ll spot a passageway off to the side of the waterfall that you can traverse.
You’ll see a large gate at the end of the pathway. Place all three fragments to open it.
When you enter this chamber, several treasure hoarders will fight you, so go ahead and take them out.
Before activating the pedestal, make sure you’re prepared. There will be three waves of enemies here (Ruin Guards and Ruin Hunters), and the goal is to defeat them before they destroy the pedestal itself.
Use your best characters and elemental combos (i.e., Pyro + Electro to Overload) to eliminate all of them.
If you’re successful, the entrance to another chamber towards the back will be revealed. Inside, you’ll find a Geoculus and half a dozen treasure chests with loads of loot. There’s also a seelie here that’ll float off to spawn another treasure chest.
After picking up everything, return to Qingce Village’s elder. You’ll finally complete this Genshin Impact sidequest.
