Peculiar Wonderland challenges and encounters
A Peculiar Wonderland run in Genshin Impact is comprised of three unique challenges that seem to be chosen at random. Anyway, let’s discuss those that are available today.
Stepping Stone Antics
There are several blocks on the floor that will wobble. A few seconds later, these blocks will drop. If you fall down, that concludes the challenge.
When the floor’s back up, Facundity flowers will also spawn. Be careful here when trying to collect them since those sections might drop soon.
Windblume Blessing
Lots of Facundity crowns will start falling from the ceiling. Your goal is to collect them before they despawn (a split second once they touch the floor). Likewise, there will be red flowers that pop up, often close to the ground as well. These will cause an explosion that deducts some of your Facundity points.
My suggestion would be to use characters like Venti, Albedo, or Zhongli. They have abilities like the wind current, elevator, and pillar that allow your character to stay airborne. You should be able to collect the flower crowns faster instead of waiting for them to reach the ground.
One-Way Traffic
Think of this as akin to the “Name of God” floor puzzle in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. The idea here is to closely memorize the glowing floor panels that’ll flash before the challenge starts. Then, walk gingerly until you reach the end, taking care to avoid floors that weren’t lit earlier.
The Facundity crowns/flowers also spawn before the start of the challenge. Remember where they were and jump up to collect them.
Barrage Minuet
There’s a monolith at the center of the platform and it’ll pulse out a barrage of different elements (kinda like the Electro Hypostasis). The Pyro pulse has a small, conal arc. Electro version, meanwhile, has a large semi-circle. Lastly, the Hydro pulse is a wave that’ll span the entire area.
You can always jump up to avoid these, or use skills from Venti, Albedo, or Zhongli to stay higher. Just watch out for various contraptions on the floor since they’ll apply elemental reactions which, when combined with the pulse, could spell your doom. Oh, and the Facundity crowns/flowers will also appear in between barrages.
The Great Bubble Crash
This might be the easiest challenge in Genshin Impact‘s Peculiar Wonderland activity. It’s like a wacky version of Temple Run and, in some cases, it might even be the first one that you get in the rotation.
For this Peculiar Wonderland challenge, all you need to do is reach the end of the corridor. Make sure you collect the Facundity flowers on the ground while avoiding the water bubbles (they’ll trap you and make you lose Facundity points). There are also nooks off to the side that you can use just in case the entire corridor has bubbles floating toward you.
All right, the next section of our guide talks about the boss fight, Peculiar Collab Coupons, and rewards that you can earn.
