The Molten Iron Fortress is a new domain in Genshin Impact, added in Version 3.6. This domain is located in the newly expanded desert of Sumeru and contains two new artifacts that you can farm to make your characters stronger. These artifacts are the Nymph’s Dream and Vourukasha’s Glow, and these artifacts will fill a couple of new niches that we haven’t seen before. Here’s our Genshin Impact Molten Iron Fortress artifact guide to help you farm the new Nymph’s Dream and Vourukasha’s Glow artifacts.

Nymph’s Dream and Vourukasha’s Glow in Genshin Impact
These two new artifacts are found in the Molten Iron Fortress domain, which is located in the new desert area in Sumeru added in Version 3.6. This domain is in a fairly unobstructed area, so you shouldn’t have any trouble finding this domain. Once you interact with the entrance, you’ll unlock a new teleport as well, in addition to five Primogems.
Leyline Disorder
Each domain in Genshin Impact has a unique “Leyline Disorder,” which is a buff granted to your team to help you better clear a specific domain. In the Molten Iron Fortress domain, you’ll obtain the following Leyline Disorder: “When a party member triggers a Dendro-related Elemental Reaction, the Elemental Mastery of all party members is increased by 150 for eight seconds. This effect can be triggered at most once every one second.”
This domain has two waves of enemies, two basic Mitachurls, and two new enemies: the Hydro and Anemo Hilichurl Rogues. These enemies are relatively simple with low HP-pools, and you can utilize Hyperbloom teams to make these enemies disappear within seconds.
Nymph’s Dream artifact
- 2-Piece: Hydro DMG Bonus +15%
- 4-Piece: After Normal, Charged, and Plunging Attacks, Elemental Skills, and Elemental Bursts hit opponents, 1 stack of Mirrored Nymph will be triggered, lasting 8s. When under the effect of 1, 2, or 3 or more Mirrored Nymph stacks, ATK will be increased by 7%/16%/25%, and Hydro DMG Bonus will be increased by 4%/9%/15%. Mirrored Nymph stacks created by Normal, Charged, and Plunging Attacks, Elemental Skills, and Elemental Bursts exist independently.
The Nymph’s Dream artifact set is targeted toward DPS Hydro characters like Tartaglia and Kamisato Ayato. The full 4-piece Nymph’s Dream set has the potential to provide an additional 25% ATK buff and 30% Hydro DMG buff, which should increase your overall Hydro damage. This set is not recommended for characters like Nilou, who would not necessarily benefit greatly from the buffs this artifact provides. Generally, the 4-piece Heart of Depth is a sufficient artifact set for Hydro users, so it’s not recommended to farm for this set if you already have a great 4-piece Heart of Depth set. Alternatively, if you do not have a good Heart of Depth set, consider farming for Nymph’s Dream artifacts for your Hydro characters.
Vourukasha’s Glow artfact
- 2-Piece: HP +20%
- 4-Piece: Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst DMG will be increased by 10%. After the equipping character takes DMG, the aforementioned DMG Bonus is increased by 80% for 5s. This effect increase can have 5 stacks. The duration of each stack is counted independently. These effects can be triggered even when the equipping character is not on the field.
This fascinating set seems designed for the new character, Dehya, in Genshin Impact. However, Dehya is generally seen as a weak character with low damage, so spending resin to farm for a set that will marginally increase her low damage seems questionable. Nevertheless, if you are a diehard Dehya main, you should consider getting a good 4-piece Vourukasha’s Glow artifact set. Another viable usage of this artifact set is to pair it with the 2-piece Tenacity of the Millileth set for shielders. The Vourukasha’s Glow is the second artifact set that gives a flat +20% HP bonus, which can stack for a 40% HP buff. You can feasibly use both sets to create an even stronger shield for characters like Zhongli and Thoma.
