Genshin Impact: How to unlock the Moshiri Kara domain

Moshiri Kara is a new domain introduced in Genshin Impact‘s version 2.2 update. It’s located on a group of islands in the middle of nowhere, and you’ll need to complete a few challenges, too. Here’s our guide to help you unlock the Moshiri Kara domain in Genshin Impact.

How to unlock the Moshiri Kara domain in Genshin Impact

You can reach the Moshiri Kara domain in Genshin Impact by sailing your Waverider to the small archipelago. The closest Waverider Waypoints are in Asase Shrine (Seirai Island) and Shirikoro Peak (Tsurumi Island).

Once you get close enough to the shore, you’ll notice several challenge markers which will be very integral to what we’re about to do. On the main island, you’ll see three Electro totems and three phase gates. You’re barred from interacting with the totems, so we’ll need to use the phase gates to travel to the smaller islands.

Challenge #1

The eastern island has a challenge marker that requires you to destroy several explosive barrels within a short time limit. Use any archer here to complete the task. If you want, you can also defeat the mobs on the platforms to open the two Remarkable Chests that contain Serenitea Pot blueprints.

Challenge #2

The challenge on the western island, meanwhile, requires you to collect nine Electro orbs within two minutes. You can use the Thunder Bough to grapple, as well as the nearby phase gates to travel to the other spots.

Challenge #3

Finally, the challenge on the northern island has you fighting a couple of Thunderhelm Lawachurls. Use your powerful bursts to take them out. There’s also another Remarkable Chest that you can open if you beat the mobs on the platform.

When you’re done with all three challenges, return to the main island and use an Electro skill on the three totems. This will unlock the Moshiri Kara domain in Genshin Impact.

While you’re at it, you might as well complete Through the Mists. It’s a world quest that takes place on Tsurumi Island, and there are new phases each daily reset.
