A bit of puzzle-solving on Watatsumi Island.

Fang of Watatsumi

Let’s talk about the Fang of Watatsumi puzzle.

This one is at the northwestern portion of Watatsumi Island. Upon reading the inscription, you can interact with the Ley Line Monolith. This will cause several hostiles to spawn in waves (mostly Hilichurls and Nobushi Samurai).

Naturally, our goal is to prevent the Ley Line Monolith from getting destroyed. Thankfully, you’ll see several giant crystals and a Thunder Bough nearby. Just like the Thunder Sojourn event, you can use the Electrograna buff to get linked to the crystals. This will improve your energy recharge rate and cause a massive AoE shockwave that should kill most of the enemies that are still around.

After this, inspect the shrine to get another Spirit Pearl. Let’s go to the next part of our Genshin Impact Moon-Bathed Deep guide to talk about the Fin of Watatsumi puzzle.
